There are a bunch of sensors in that top bezel apparently

While there is not that much to hide about the Pixel 4 family, leakster Ice Universe revealed more details about the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL’s huge forehead bezel.

The leaked screen protectors reveal several holes on the top portion to accommodate the cameras, earpiece, and a variety of sensors. There’s speculation that those sensors are necessary for Google’s Project Soli–a radar-based tech that tracks fine movements and is used for gesture-based control. The tech is similar to what we have seen with the LG G8 ThinQ.

For the meantime, we will have to wait until Google officially launches the Pixel 4 family to know more about the large, mysterious hole at the rightmost part of the top bezel.
