Realme 3 Pro Shown Off By CEO, Can Run Fortnite at 60FPS

Takes a low-key dig against Xiaomi

Realme’s Brand CEO Madhav Sheth is excited about their upcoming Realme 3 Pro, which is starting to look like a real budget gaming smartphone. The CEO recently tweeted out a photo showing how the Realme 3 Pro can run Fortnite in 60 FPS which other, so-called Pro devices can’t.

That’s very obviously a shade thrown at Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 Pro, which coincidentally was on the same table as the Realme 3 Pro, with the “not supported” error showing on the screen. Currently, only flagship smartphones armed with a Snapdragon 855 processor and Kirin 980 chipsets support 60FPS mode on Fortnite.

While it’s highly unlikely that the Realme 3 Pro will have a flagship SoC, the company may have other tricks up its sleeve, like an update from Epic that allows whatever chipset on their phone run Fortnite at 60FPS. At any case we expect the phone to have a rather beefy GPU that’ll delight mobile gaming aficionados.
