Realme Reveals More Details about its 64-Megapixel, Quad Rear Camera-Sporting Phone

It might be called the Realme 5

Less than a day after Xiaomi announced their upcoming 64-megapixel (and 108-megapixel) phones, Realme divulged more details about its upcoming 64-megapixel, quad-rear camera-sporting phone.

Like Xiaomi’s announcement, the Realme’s upcoming phone will use Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. The 1/1.72-inch sensor comes with 0.8um pixels that become 1.6um pixels with Tetracell tech.

As for its other cameras, the upcoming Realme phone will have an ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree FOV and a dedicated macro lens that lets you shoot photos as close as 4cm. The fourth camera was not disclosed, but we expect it to be a Time of Flight or Depth sensor.

While Realme CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that their next phone will be the Realme 5, it is not sure if the upcoming phone will be the one sporting a 64-megapixel, quad rear camera setup.
