Redmi’s most affordable Redmi 7 variant is coming to town
Aside from the Redmi Note 7, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing confirmed that the Redmi 7 will launch alongside it on March 18 in China.
Redmi’s budget offering will reportedly come with a Snapdragon 632 processor with a choice of 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB, and 4GB/64GB configurations. Up front, you get a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch housing the 8-megapixel camera.
At the back, you get a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel rear camera setup, along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Keeping the lights on is a 3900mAh battery.
If rumors are true, the Redmi 7 will start at CNY 900(~Php 7k) for the 2GB/16GB variant. Redmi might pull off a couple of surprises come March 18, so stay tuned to the site for updates.
