Retailer Publishes Price, Hi-res Images Of OnePlus 6 Early

Higher prices for the flagship killer this time around

While OnePlus is gearing up to officially unveil their next flagship on May 22, leaks about it are reaching fever pitch. The latest one is from Amazon Germany, who made the mistake of publishing pricing and leaking full-res photos of the upcoming phone.

Despite Amazon Germany quickly realizing their mistake and removing the listing, WinFuture has managed to grab the images and pricing nonetheless. In Europe it seems that the OnePlus 6 starts at €519 (around Php 32.5K) for the 64 GB model and €569 (Php 35.6K) for the 128GB variant. US tech sites estimate US pricing to be around $519 (Php 27.2K) for the 64GB model and $569 (Php 29.8K) respectively.

That may mean that the OnePlus 6 may arrive in the Philippines with a starting, official SRP of Php 28K+, considering the OnePlus 5T was offered at Php 26,990, higher than the US sticker price of $499.

If that’s the trend, then one of OnePlus’ main draws, which is affordability, will quickly be negated by its competitors.

Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2s is already an aggressively priced flagship with a Snapdragon 845 processor and twin cameras at just php 27,990. Even ASUS’ own ZenFone 5z will be close to the OP6’s price when it officially arrives in our shores come June with a Php 29,990 sticker price.
