Leaked sketches on Weibo reveal more details
Similar to how the OnePlus One was leaked three years ago, sketches of the next “Flagship Killer” have recently surfaced and there are a couple of new details to be gleaned from the leaks. Most notably, it looks like the OnePlus 5 will be shipping with both dual selfie and dual rear camera setups.
Let’s check the handset’s rear sketch first. For the back cameras, there’s a twin pair of 12-megapixel sensors with dual-LED flash. The sketch mentions that the cameras’ housing will be employing a ceramic window, as a durable replacement for glass and for better signal pass through. There’s a slight camera hump for the whole setup as well. Other features showcased is the presence of a physical notification slider and the staple curved back design.
The other sketch involves a quick look at the OnePlus 5’s front, side, and bottom layout. Supposedly, there’s a dual selfie setup for the handset’s front face. As for its sides and bottom, we get to see the usual stuff, plus a USB Type-C port. The 3.5mm headphone jack stays as well.
