Initially expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung went ahead in announcing the 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip. Aside from the new Mystic Bronze and Mystic Gray colors, the main difference is the processor: instead of a Snapdragon 855, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G uses a Snapdragon 865+ processor, being the first Samsung phone to use Qualcomm’s new flagship processor.
Save for the processor upgrade and new color options, everything remains the same: 7-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display, 12-megapixel main and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle cameras, 10-megapixel selfie snapper, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 3300mAh battery.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is priced at $1449(~Php 71.5k), which is a deal since you don’t need to spend much for 5G connectivity. It will be available in the US on August 7.
