Samsung to Introduce Thunderbolt 3-Equipped QLED Curved Monitor at CES 2018

Not to be outdone by LG, Samsung is also introducing its own take on the Thunderbolt 3-powered monitor for CES 2018. Called the CJ791, Samsung’s 34-inch QLED Curved Monitor boasts of a Thunderbolt 3 interface that can provide up to 40Gbps connection speeds, along with an 85w power supply to laptops. As an ultrawide monitor, the CJ791 has a 21:9 aspect ratio, with a 3440×1440 resolution and a 125 percent sRGB spectrum.

Aside from professionals, the CJ791 will benefit gamers as well with its built-in Game Mode, adjusting color and contrast to each scene for a true-to-life gaming environment. In addition, it has a 4ms response time, making it an ideal monitor for playing racing, flight simulation and FPS games.

The CJ791 will formally launch during CES 2018.
