Smart held a media event last week to announce their new gadget plus bundles for Smart Bro. You can basically get different kinds of tablets bundled with a Smart Bro Pocket WiFi or Plug-it. The kind of tablet you get depends on the plan (499, 699, and 999) with the better models going up the ladder. You can go as high as either the iPad Mini (with cash out) or the Galaxy Note 8. The plan that caught our attention though was their highest offering — Plan 1299. With this plan you can pick from 2 laptop bundles from Samsung and Acer. Both are actually quite compelling and tempting offers.

For the lack of better names we’ll just call them “Smart Bro Samsung Laptop” and “Smart Bro Acer Laptop” Plans.

We’ve actually seen an actual unit of the Acer Aspire V5 122P and it looks kinda sleek and sezzy. If you’re looking for a compact, thin, and ultraportable laptop, this is probably for you. The tablet is an added bonus as well but don’t expect too much from it since it just runs a dual-core processor and 512MB RAM plus the display isn’t even HD, hehe.

Among the two, the Samsung offer gives you more flexibility and functionality especially since you get the wireless printer. However the Acer package gives a sleeker and more premium-looking laptop. Both are actually nice packages just figure out which one you need more.
