LTE for All!
Awesome tech news for this Sunday! Smart Communications just posted on their Facebook Page that they’re slashing the price of their LTE Pocket WiFi from Php6,995 to just Php4,888! That’s more that Php2,000 off the original price! This is definitely a very welcome development since LTE has proven to be quite reliable for both upload and download speeds. Don’t forget also that Smart is already offering LTE prepaid so you don’t actually need a postpaid plan to enjoy LTE speeds.
Just make sure you have LTE signal at the places you frequent though before you make the jump. Smart already has a lot of Metro Manila covered (and key cities outside NCR) but it would be good to test it first before buying. You can ask a friend who has an LTE enable phone with a Smart SIM to come over (pakainin niyo na lang) and see if you have LTE coverage. If you do then this is a very good investment.
