Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Lands in the PH

The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua , Sony’s new water-resistant mid-ranger, is now “unofficially” available in the Philippines with a price tag of Php13,990. We initially saw this device up close and personal in Barcelona when we were covering the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. It instantly caught our attention because it looked like a flagship, felt like a flagship, and was priced at half the price! Fast forward several months we finally have it here in our shores albeit via the grey market.

As with any other grey market offerings, this one doesn’t come with the official Sony product warranty. There’s just a 1-year service warranty which means that if it gets broken the ones who will try to fix it are the ones who sold it to you. They probably have trained technicians but it really won’t be the same as having Sony themselves take a look at it. It’s the trade-off for getting the device cheaper and faster.
