Specs and Price of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro Revealed Ahead of March 27 Launch

As revealed by a German retailer

While Huawei will officially launch the P20 family tomorrow (John is already in Paris to cover the launch), some retailers in Europe jumped the gun and revealed the specs AND price for the P20 and P20 Pro.

From what we can derive from the leaked info, there are several differences between the P20 and P20 Pro. While they share the same processor and internal storage, they differ mainly in their display size, RAM, battery, and most importantly, that rear camera setup.

Here’s a roundup of what we know about their specs:

Huawei P20 Pro specs (Speculated)

  • HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor
  • 6GB of RAM
  • 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display, 19:9 Aspect ratio
  • 128GB internal storage
  • 40-megapixel primary Leica rear camera
  • 20-megapixel f/1.6 monochrome Leica rear camera
  • 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto Leica rear camera with 3X optical zoom
  • 24-megapixel front camera
  • Dual SIM
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Fingerprint scanner, fast charge, IP67 rating
  • 4000mAh battery
  • Android 8.0 Oreo (EMUI 8.0)

Huawei P20 specs (speculated)

  • HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 5.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display, 19:9 Aspect ratio
  • 128GB internal storage
  • 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel f/1.6 Leica cameras with PDAF, OIS,
  • 24-megapixel front camera
  • Dual SIM
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Fingerprint scanner, fast charge
  • 3400mAh battery
  • Android 8.0 Oreo (EMUI 8.0)

Pricing for the P20 and P20 Pro is at 649 Euro(~Php 42k) and 899 Euro(~Php 58.2k) respectively. We will wait for the official announcement tomorrow to confirm everything here.
