TCL Announces Self-Branded 10 Series Smartphones

Compelling mid-range phones from TCL

Beyond being the brand handling Blackberry and Alcatel, TCL also manufactures phones under their own brand. For CES 2020, TCL debuted its 10 Series, comprising of the 10 5G, 10 Pro, and 10L. All three have quad rear camera setups, dual-LED flashes, and TCL-branded displays.

The 10 5G, as the name implies, is TCL’s first 5G smartphone. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 7-series processor (most likely the Snapdragon 765G) and has a 64-megapixel main rear camera, a punch-hole display, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner

The 10 Pro lacks 5G but makes up for it by having a curved AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Like the 10 5G, the 10 Pro has a 64-megapixel primary rear camera.

The 10L serves as the entry-level model to the trio. It is similar to the 10 5G with its punch-hole display and rear-mounted fingerprint scanners, but it does not have 5G and swaps the 64-megapixel main rear camera for a 48-megapixel snapper.

TCL will reveal more about the trio at MWC 2020 in Barcelona.
