The company has sent an official notice to the launch of their new Black Shark 2 Pro, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Black Shark 2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, along with a direct touch liquid cooling system.

It’s launching with a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 240Hz touch response rate, though the phone still uses a traditional 60Hz refresh rate, which is a bummer.

The battery is at 4000mAh, with 27-watt quick charging capabilities via USB-C. There’s a 48-megapixel primary sensor plus a 12-megapixel telephoto camera at the back, and a 20-megapixel selfie camera as well.

Two versions of the Black Shark 2 Pro is available in other regions, one with 12GB/128GB of RAM and storage, and one with 12GB/256GB of storage and RAM. Prices for the low-end Black Shark 2 Pro starts at RMB 2999 or Php 22.15K, though there’s no SEA pricing yet for the phone.
