Ok first let me just clarify that we never wrote anything saying that the LG G2 would go on sale to go up against the ASUS Zenfone 2. You might have gotten that information from a different source.
Now, having said that, we actually went out of our way this weekend to visit the LG stall in SM Megamall to ask about the “sale”. Apparently they did do a sale but it wasn’t the sub-Php15,000 LG G2 that everyone was hoping for. Instead they did a bundle of the LG G2 with the G Watch for around Php17,000-Php19,000 (can’t remember the exact price but it was at this range). They also only had limited stocks for this and they admitted that they ran out pretty quickly.
To help you out though we did some quick research to find you a good phone for your budget (Php15,000). Instead of going for the LG G2 why not just get a brand new LG G3? Online stores like Kimstore are already selling the 16GB variant for just Php15,880. Please note though that they don’t offer official LG warranty, just service warranty (you send it to them and they try to fix it for you). 🙂
