The Nikon P1000 is the New King of Superzoom Cameras

Featuring an insane 125X zoom lens

If you are the one who wants a camera that can do everything—from landscape photography to wildlife photography—while bringing one camera, Nikon has you covered with the Coolpix P1000 bridge camera. The key feature? An incredible 125x zoom lens, which has a focal length equivalent of 24mm to 3000mm and an aperture range of F/2.8 to F/8. That focal range uses only one lens, saving you the bother of bringing several lenses along with you.

Not content with 125X zoom? You can push the P1000 to do a 250X zoom with Dynamic Fine Zoom, letting you attain a 12,000mm focal length at the expense of image quality.

Handling the image crunching is a 1/2.3-inch 16-megapixel sensor with an ISO range of 100-6400 and a maximum burst rate of 7 FPS (capped at seven photos at a time before the buffer needs to unload). You can shoot RAW with the P1000, giving you extra detail to work on should you plan to post-process your images.

Aside from photography, you can use the P1000’s crazy focal range for video as well. It supports 4K shooting at 30FPS, can do hyperlapse videos, has an external microphone input, and has a fully-articulating LCD screen for your vlogging needs.

With a $1000(~Php 53.5k) price tag, it is a steal if you consider all of the things the P1000 can do. No word yet if it will make it to our shores.
