The OPPO K1 Has a Feature Missing From Most OPPO Phones

And we’re not talking about the in-display fingerprint scanner

Back in China, OPPO released a new phone series with the K1. This new model’s highlight feature is the in-display fingerprint scanner, and that is significant given its price point. However, the K1 is stuck with using a MicroUSB port, unlike its more expensive siblings.

Other key features of the K1 include a Snapdragon 660 processor, 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear cameras, 25-megapixel front camera, and a 3500mAh battery.

OPPO K1 Specs

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor
  • Adreno 512 GPU
  • 4GB/6GB RAM
  • 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Dewdrop display
  • 64GB of expandable storage
  • 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear cameras with LED flash and PDAF
  • 25-megapixel front camera
  • Dual SIM
  • 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, fingerprint scanner, face unlock
  • 3500mAh battery
  • Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 UI

The K1 will sell for CNY 1,599(~Php 12.6k) for the 4GB/64GB model and CNY 1,799(~Php 14.1k) for the 6GB/64GB model. No word yet if this phone will make it to our shores. It will go on sale on October 19.
