An ideal monitor for WFH setups?
Redmi surprises everyone by launching their first computer monitor with the Redmi Display 1A. Like all of their other offerings, the Redmi Display 1A offers great value for money: for CNY 599 (~Php 4.3k), you get a 23.8-inch monitor with 7.3mm slim bezels, making it ideal for multi-monitor setups.
The panel itself is of IPS variety with Full HD resolution. It has a conventional 1000:1 contrast ratio and 250 nits brightness. For ports, you get an HDMI connector and an antiquated VGA port. We’re not sure if anyone still uses VGA in 2020, but it is still a welcome addition for those who have an older workstation.
Aside from its aggressive price, the Redmi Display 1A comes with a 3-year warranty. It is currently available for pre-order in China, and there’s no word if Xiaomi will bring this to the Philippines.
