Filipino Brand Timbre set to launch “Gitara” Headphones in December

Well this is interesting! I received an e-mail from a local brand called Timbre and they just announced that their launching their first consumer headphones this coming December called “The Gitara“. Oh and get this — the artwork of the headphones were made by Team Manila! I’m trying to ask the company if they can show us a demo unit so we gauge how good the cans are in terms of sound quality and build. Based on the poster though it looks like the headband is inspired by Beats by Dr. Dre.

SRP is currently pegged at below Php3,000 making it pretty competitive with international brands. I’m really looking forward to testing this out. I would love to compare the SQ with international cans in the same price range like the Audio-Technica SJ55. Will definitely keep you guys posted on any major developments with this brand.
