The new phone is almost here
Remember the V5s that debuted a few weeks ago in India? Well, Vivo Philippines has just sent word that they’ll be releasing that same device in the Philippines come May 19.

The V5s is very, very similar to the already existing V5, though there are small changes to the styling of the device to make it easier to use one handed. The V5s also has more storage compared to the V5 and a dedicated AK4375 audio DAC, but internally the device is almost a carbon copy of the phone already being sold in stores.
The V5 family of phones are marketed as selfie-focused devices, and the V5s is no exception as it has a large 20-megapixel front facing camera, paired with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
No pricing has been set as of yet for the V5s – we reckon that we’ll all find out together come May 19.
