After Smart confirmed that the X50 Pro is coming to our shores, vivo Philippines confirmed that they are also bringing over the vanilla X50 and its premium TWS earbuds as well. While the more interesting product is still the X50 Pro with its IMX598 main camera with a mechanical stabilization system, the vanilla X50 is still worth considering.
While you only get a flat 90hz display and a more conventional quad-rear camera setup that is led by an IMX598 main camera with 4-axis OIS, the X50’s bragging rights is that it is one of the thinnest 5G smartphones in the market, boasting of a 7.49mm thin profile.
On the other hand, vivo’s TWS earbuds, which debuted together with the NEX 3 last year, stands out with its Dual-core QCC512 Qualcomm audio chip. The chip gives it features like Bluetooth 5.0, support for aptX and AAC, and dual-channel transmission that reduces latency by 44% and decreases power consumption by 30%. Its 14.2mm drivers feature dual-capacitance in-ear sensing tech for better wear detection and power efficiency.
vivo Philippines is expected to reveal more details about the three products on August 22.
