Why Ending the Galaxy Note Line Makes Sense for Samsung?

If you have been following the latest crop of Galaxy S21 news, the confirmation of S Pen support for the Galaxy S21 Ultra further bolsters reports that the Galaxy Note line might be discontinued for good–making the Galaxy Note 20 series the last of its kind.

Fans of the S Pen-toting phablet should not be sad, however: one of the possible reasons for this is that Samsung has reportedly begun working on the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which will reportedly have an S Pen (you will need to buy the stylus separately with the Galaxy S21 Ultra according to reports).

Rumored to launch on June 2021, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also bring in an under-display camera, eliminating the need for punch-holes with its flexible inner display. In addition, Samsung will be utilizing its second-generation Ultra-Thin Glass.

Ending the Galaxy Note line in exchange for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 will make sense for the Korean tech giant, as the differences between the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series are very, very minimal in recent years.
