Xiaomi Adds An Affordable Alternative to Its Smart TV Lineup

A More Affordable Alternative

There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding Xiaomi as of late and the excitement of having authorized resellers in the Philippines hasn’t died down one bit with a few more stores set to open to serve us better. While most of us are probably going to check their stores for mobile devices, we know that they have a ton of other things to purchase and I personally have my eye on their electric scooter. Another thing on my Xiaomi wishlist is their LED Smart TV, which already offers a tremendous amount value for what you’re getting but if having 4K resolution and HDR aren’t as important to you then you might want to hold off until they bring their new TVs to our shores — the Xiaomi Mi LED SmartTV 4A.

Recently launched in India, the Mi TV 4A comes in two screen sizes: 32-inches and 43-inches. The kicker here is that, as mentioned above, these TVs will feature lower resolution at 1920×1080 for the 43-inch model and 1366×768 for the 32-incher. Both sets have a 1.5Ghz Amlogic T950 processor at its core with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage, running on the company’s Patchwall UI. They will have a great range of input ports with three HDMI ports, three USB 2.0 ports (two for the 32-inch model), and your standard AV and headphone jack as well. Seeing it is a SmartTV, you also have Ethernet and WiFi.

The Mi TV 4A has been priced at INR 13,999 or Php 11,202 for the 32-inch model and the 43-inch model goes for INR 22,999 or Php 18,404.
