Its main feature will be a 32-megapixel front camera
When Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi S2 (Redmi Y2 in India last year), the budget phone aimed to be for those who want to take great selfies but are on a tight budget. Fast forward to roughly a year later, Xiaomi is set to launch a follow-up model with the Redmi Y3. Xiaomi India CEO Manu Kumar Jain teased on Twitter that the upcoming phone comes with a 32-megapixel front camera–an upgrade from the Redmi S2/Y2’s 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
