More Redmi phones to choose from!
While avid Redmi fans in the Philippines are waiting for the official launch of the Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi unveiled a new Redmi model in China with the Redmi S2. While it looks similar to the Redmi Note 5, the Redmi S2 is positioned below it, as it sports lower specs. To make it cheaper than the Redmi Note 5, the Redmi S2 utilizes a Snapdragon 625 processor, an HD+ display, and a smaller battery.
On the other side of the coin, the Redmi S2 retains the Redmi Note 5’s dual rear camera setup, and it comes with a selfie-centric 16-megapixel front camera with AI. Check out the spec sheet below:
