After it was announced in Malaysia last June, Xiaomi Philippines confirmed that it is bringing the budget-friendly Redmi 9C to the Philippines. Sitting in between the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A, the Redmi 9C sports a triple rear camera setup, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a generous 6.53-inch HD+ display, and a large 5000mAh battery. Powering it is a Helio G35 processor paired with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Android 10-based MIUI 12.

If we base it on its price in Malaysia, we expect the Redmi 9C to have a sub-Php 5k price tag. Xiaomi Philippines will reveal more details about the Redmi 9C come August 17, so stay tuned for official pricing and availability.
