Scoring better than the Vivo NEX S and OnePlus 6
It is the second half of 2018, and most brands have unveiled their flagship devices. While these flagship phones offer the best specs today, their overall performance varies—or at least based on GizChina’s findings using AnTuTu Benchmark.
Based on data collected for the whole month of June, Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming phone is on the top spot, followed closely by Vivo’s NEX S and the OnePlus 6. Rounding up the top 5 is Xiaomi’s Mi 8 and Smartisan’s R1.
Save for Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ (the ones tested here come with an Exynos 9810 processor), all phones in the top 10 sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor—a clear proof that Qualcomm makes the best processor for mobile phones in 2018.
Since not all phones in this list are available locally, this makes the OnePlus 6 the fastest phone available on our shores.
Since the test was done in June, other Snapdragon 845-equipped phones like OPPO’s Find X and ASUS’ ROG Phone are not included in the list, so expect this list to change by 3rd quarter of 2018.
