Xiaomi has just launched their own interpretation of Google’s Cardboard low-cost VR Headset. The new VR headset, dubbed the Mi VR Play, improves over Google’s iteration in a lot of ways. First off the material that Xiaomi used is Spandex and Lycra, which should be tougher than the regular cardboard in the original. There’s two holes in the front that allow people to adjust whatever smartphone they have inside, and headset can accomodate phones from 4.7-inches to 5.7-inches.
The headset comes in several designs, though Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced the pricing yet for their VR offering.
