A mid-range version of the XZ4?
While the Xperia XA3 series did not make an appearance at CES 2019, there is a good chance that Sony will unveil it together with the Xperia XZ4. There’s no news about an Xperia XZ4 compact, and there’s one possible reason for that: new renders of the Xperia XA3 shows that it will have an extra tall 21:9 display like the Xperia XZ4.
There’s notch to be found on the Xperia XA3. Instead, you have a small bezel on top to house the earpiece, front camera, and necessary sensors, while you have barely any bezels on the sides and at the bottom.
The Xperia XA3 loses the headphone jack in exchange for stereo speakers at the bottom, and will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner like the Xperia XZ4. Rumored specs include a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 3500mAh battery, and a 23-megapixel + 8-megapixel rear camera setup.
