ZTE’s Axon Has Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Processor, 4GB of RAM For Under 21K

A few weeks ago ZTE teased their upcoming flagship, the Axon. Yesterday the company officially launched the device during an event in the US and has officially unveiled the specs of their newest monster.

ZTE’s Axon is a high-end device obviously, sporting a revised Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with a whopping 4GB of RAM. The 5.5-inch display sports a QHD panel, which puts it in the same league as the flagships of other international brands.

Just like we suspected, the dual-camera 13-megapixel camera setup on the back supports refocusing just like HTC’s One M8 and Huawei’s Honor 6 Plus. Speaking of the camera, the 13-megapixel shooters on the back can adjust the f-stop from 8 all the way down to 1, though it’s safe to assume that this f stop adjustment is merely done on the software side just like the Honor 6 Plus, and doesn’t physically allow in more light.

ZTE has said that the Axon was designed for the US, for the US, so it’s not clear if this particular phone will see release outside of the continental United States. For folks in the US, the ZTE Axon will retail for $450 or Php 20,330, which makes it a great deal for folks who want a high-end handset at a low price.
