Slated for a global launch soon?
When Facebook unveiled Messenger 4 several months ago, one of the features it has highlighted is a battery-efficient dark mode, which also helps in cutting glare when using the app for a prolonged period. We haven’t heard from the said feature for a while, but we expect it to roll out soon. Tech tipster Jane Wong shared a preview of how Messenger will look like in Dark Mode:
While this confirms that the much-awaited feature is coming soon, Facebook has yet perfected Dark Mode for Messenger. As Wong explained in her tweet, there are inconsistencies with it for now. That aside, Facebook is putting the finishing touches for Dark Mode before its global (and official) release.
