Google’s Triangle App Lets You Control Other Apps’ Data Usage

Free and only available for Philippine users, at least for now

Designed for Android users in emerging markets, Google’s data management app dubbed Triangle has recently launched for the Philippine region.

Triangle allows users to view and control each app’s data consumption. It also provides an overview of all your apps’ data needs, indicating which of them are using the most data over a given time period. For Smart and Globe prepaid users, Triangle also shows their remaining data balance. Triangle also rewards users with extra data balance for using and downloading certain promoted apps.

First-time Smart and Globe prepaid users get a free 100MB data balance for registering as an early incentive, so if you’re an avid fan of perusing these carriers’ data packages then Triangle is a nifty app to have.
