How I Saved A Little Extra on my Lazada Birthday Sale Haul

Discounts Over Discounts

Lazada’s Birthday Sale is upon us! While there are bigger price cuts tomorrow, I’ve jumped the gun on a couple of products that the team needed to help create better content with a few little personal items thrown in as well. There’s a lot of us that probably prefer to use the Cash-on-Delivery payment system most of the time but I decided to maximize my discounts during this sale and used Paymaya to check out once I was done.

Now the additional discount to tops out at Php 200 with a minimum spend of Php 500 but that’s on top of the pretty heavily slashed prices you’re getting on the product that you want already plus saving a little extra is always a good thing. It’s also pretty easy to get.

Once you’ve done your shopping and have entered the payment details of your Paymaya card, whether the physical one or the virtual one via the app, you can use the following codes down below to take a little more off the top of your final tally. Use the code above if you’re going to jump the gun as I did or the code below if you EQ can hold out until tomorrow to really max out the discounts.

If you’re curious about my haul, it’s not really a lot and might not be too exciting for some of you but feel free to check them out anyway.

The bigger ticket items are the ND filters so we can shoot outdoors and use the right settings on our cameras plus the acoustic foam so that the audio sounds a little better in our videos. As I said, Lea and I threw in some personal items as well.

If you aren’t subbed to Paymaya yet, all you have to do is download the app on the Google Play Store and, after a quick sign up process plus some SMS verifications, you’ll be able to get a virtual card like the one you see in the photo above. It’s free so it doesn’t hurt to have it just in case plus it doesn’t matter what network you’re on either.

The entire team is signed up to the service and it has saved our butts a number of times when we’ve done coverage in other countries.
