Yup, it’s not a glitch

Trying to open Facebook and not seeing a thing? Don’t worry, it’s not just you – Facebook is apparently down right now for us, and for the larger parts of the world as well. We have multiple reports of Facebook being down in the Philippines as well in Australia, Singapore and Thailand, which means it’s a big outage.

Surprisingly Facebook Messenger is still up and running for us, so it looks like the outage only affects the main app. While we can’t confirm it as of yet, there’s apparently a surge in productivity in the offices around the world while the social media site is down.
