Messenger Lite Finally Arrives In The Philippines

More than a month after other countries got it

After months of waiting, Facebook had finally included the Philippines to the list of countries that are now able to download and use Messenger Lite, their stripped down, less data-hungry version of their messaging service.

Messenger Lite is just that Рa lighter version of Messenger that is lacking many of the non essential elements to make the app faster and leaner, consuming less data overall. It still has the core IM service which includes messaging, photo, link sharing and stickers.

The app weighs in at just 10MB and is available to download now.
