Now you can pay for iTunes and App Store purchases using your prepaid or postpaid load

Smart users have been able to pay for Google Play Store purchases using their prepaid and postpaid accounts, and now they can do the same for their iTunes and App Store purchases starting February 16 with Smart’s Pay-for-Mobile Service. This includes games, apps as well as movies, TV shows and music.

Getting the service is a little bit more involved than the one utilized by Google Play, which requires you to get a virtual credit card to use in Apple’s App Store and iTunes. Before you get any ideas, the virtual credit card is limited to Apple’s ecosystem, and can’t be used in Amazon, eBay etc.

To get started, you need to text REG to 4949, which will yield your Pay-for-Mobile virtual card number and other details. After that, it’s simply a matter of completing the form in the Apple ID account settings and selecting Mastercard as the payment option, and you’re on your way to boosting your CoC account with in app payments.
