What happens when you mix Executive Producer Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Indiana Jones, E.T.) with renowned Director and Writer J.J. Abrams (Star Trek, Lost, Mission Impossible III)? You get a pretty good summer blockbuster movie!
This Friday (June 10) their collaborative film called Super 8 will hit theaters. According to the synopsis, Super 8 is set in 1979 and it’s about a group of friends in a small town in Ohio that witness a catastrophic train crash while they’re filming their indie monster movie. “Super 8” refers to the camera that they used to film the movie.
