Watch: Instant Access to iflix for Smart Subscribers

A few months back, iflix announced that it would soon be launching a feature that would the first of its kind — Instant Access. This would allow Smart subscribers, whether on Postpaid or Prepaid, to immediately be able to jump into the app or website without the hassle of signing up and signing in as long as they’re connected to Smart’s network. We caught up with iflix’s Country Head, Sherwin Dela Cruz, to talk about Instant Access and get an update on the region’s leading Internet TV service. Watch the video below:

iflix is constanly upping their game and we’re eager to see what else they have up their sleeves for the year. They have promised to add to their growing library, so if you haven’t tried iflix out yet and you happen to be a Smart subscriber — there’s no better time than now. The complimentary months that come along with Instant Access is good until mid March, so you might want to give a go by then.

  1. You have to literally use Smart’s service to avail of this. Finish a movie and decide you’d want to use your superfast fiber WiFi line? Nope, you’re hit with a paywall and sign up wall!

  2. PLDT now has unlimited data for Iflix. The data used to stream Iflix isn’t counted with the monthly volume. That’s what they told me. And it seems true. Been watching a TV series and finished 40 episodes in a day. That uses lots of data and that doesn’t include my siblings using Youtube and Facebook and other apps on their mobile. So I think it’s true.
