When it comes to Xiaomi, fans would always mention their phones for being bang-for-the-buck with the best specs possible. Beyond electronics (their robo vacuum and LED desk lamp are one of our favorites here in Unbox.ph), Xiaomi makes a bunch of stuff like school bags and shoes. Yes, shoes. Meet the Xiaomi GTS:
While we talked about the Xiaomi GTS’ features over at Unpacked.ph, here in Unbox.ph, we want to point out how cool is it for a tech company like Xiaomi to come up with stylish-and-affordable sneakers. You read that right: Those minimalist sneakers actually sell for CNY 199(~Php 1.7k), and that pricing will attract not just the Xiaomi fans, but also those who are looking for a nice pair of shoes.
We’re still figuring out how to obtain a pair (they are only available online). Should we get our hands on one, expect an article or two at both Unbox and Unpacked about Xiaomi’s unlikely non-electronics product.
