Apparently, Xiaomi does kids backpacks as well.
It seems like Xiaomi is rapidly diversifying its product portfolio in new and creative ways lately. The mobile manufacturing giant’s newest product is the Mi Bunny Kids Backpack, designed for young, grade school kids. Add that to Xiaomi’s ever-growing list of branded appliances and apparel which include shoes, travel bags, rice cookers, and robot vacuum cleaners.
The unusually named Mi Bunny Kids Backpack sports an ergonomic design that reduces stress on the shoulders and the spine. Its shoulder straps are amply padded and the back has a “ridged design” that accommodates the user’s spine. The waterproof bag uses a magnetic lock system for its main compartment and has two zipper-secured side packs for extra storage. The Mi Bunny Kids Backpack is also easy to clean and features rubber feet underneath.
According to GizmoChina, the backpack is made of PEVA, an “environmentally friendly material that is also non-toxic to kids”. The backpack also comes with a 3-dimensional reflective film that makes it easy to spot in dark conditions.
The Mi Bunny Kids Backpack sports a price tag of around $37 (~Php 1.9K) and comes in shades of Blue and Pink. The product line will go on sale on August 16 in mainland China.
