Frankfurt Motorshow Dispatch: Mercedes Benz SLK55 AMG 2012
Packing a 5.5-liter V8 engine with cylinder shutoff the 2012 Mercedez-Benz SLK55 AMG is being hyped as the most powerful and efficient SLK of all time. It has peak output of 415 hp, maximum 398 lb-ft torque, and it can hit 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Pretty impressive right? Other than the speed you also get a better driving experience because of the AMG sports suspension with Direct-Steer system, and the high performance AMG braking system, and Torque Vectoring Brakes.
